As an Industry Technology Specialist, you will partner with Energy & Utilities customers to help them achieve their business goals through technology and digital transformation. You will act as a trusted advisor to executive and technical stakeholders, bringing industry insights, technology expertise, and strategic guidance to develop long-term partnerships and deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will work across Microsoft teams and partner ecosystems to identify opportunities, shape technology strategies, and accelerate adoption of cloud, AI, data, security, and industry solutions that address customer priorities.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders, developing a deep understanding of customer priorities, challenges, and growth opportunities within the Energy & Utilities sector.
- Develop and execute technology strategies and roadmaps that align Microsoft solutions with customer business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Lead solution envisioning and opportunity development, helping customers identify innovative ways to improve efficiency, resilience, sustainability, and business performance.
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams and partners to design and deliver solutions that drive customer adoption, value realization, and long-term success.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, AI, cloud, and security, helping customers make informed technology decisions.
- Coordinate account planning and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring alignment between customer priorities, solution strategies, and business outcomes.
- Act as the voice of the customer within Microsoft by sharing insights, advocating for customer needs, and helping shape future solutions and capabilities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience partnering with enterprise customers to drive technology adoption, digital transformation, and measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Energy & Utilities industry and the ability to align technology solutions to industry-specific business challenges.
- Experience developing technology strategies and engaging with business and technical decision makers on complex transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders within large or complex organizations.
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives involving cloud, AI, data, security, or industry solutions.
- Experience in business consulting, consultative solution selling, strategic account management, or change management.
- Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, partner ecosystems, and stakeholders across multiple organizations.
- Proven ability to develop long-term technology roadmaps that align business objectives with innovation and growth strategies.
- Experience working with Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or other industrial sector customers.
Strategic Account Technology IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across France is € 116,600.00 - € 239,500.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
