Strategic Advisor
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on key business priorities, growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of BDC’s corporate and regional strategy, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Lead strategic assessments of new markets, business opportunities, partnerships and investment initiatives across the data centre and digital infrastructure sector.
- Drive and coordinate high-priority, cross-functional strategic projects involving Commercial, Development, Technical, Finance, Operations and other functions.
- Work closely with country and functional leadership teams to ensure alignment between corporate strategy and local execution.
- Support evaluation of new market entry opportunities, including market attractiveness, customer demand, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, power availability and overall commercial viability.
- Monitor the progress and performance of key strategic initiatives, identify potential gaps or risks, and work with relevant stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
- Provide structured problem-solving and independent perspectives on complex business issues, helping leadership evaluate strategic options and trade-offs.
- Support special projects and other strategic priorities as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable university; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Approximately 8–12+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment, infrastructure, technology, data centres or a related industry.
- Prior experience with a leading management consulting firm, investment firm, infrastructure platform, technology company or multinational corporation would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative information.
- Strong understanding of the data centre, digital infrastructure, cloud, AI infrastructure, energy or broader technology ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Regional or international experience, particularly across Asia Pacific, would be advantageous.
