Strategic Buyer – Indirect Procurement & Services

This is a senior procurement role with a strong focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management within indirect procurement, particularly services supporting our manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with the Procurement Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, lead commercial negotiations, establish supplier agreements and drive continuous improvements.

A key part of the role will be managing and developing our procurement of outsourced services, including facility-related services, cleaning, cleanroom garments and laundry services, temporary staffing, security and waste management.

You will play an important role in ensuring that our service agreements are commercially competitive, clearly defined and aligned with the operational needs of our growing manufacturing site.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Strategic Buyer, you will:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories, with a particular focus on services supporting manufacturing operations.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, tenders (RFQ/RFP) and commercial negotiations.
• Negotiate and manage service agreements, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPIs, pricing structures and commercial terms.
• Manage procurement of outsourced services such as cleaning, cleanroom garments and laundry services, temporary staffing, security, waste management and other facility-related services.
• Build and develop long-term supplier relationships and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Perform spend, market and cost analyses, including TCO modelling and benchmarking.
• Identify supplier and supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare business cases and commercial recommendations for management.
• Support the development of procurement processes and ways of working.
• Represent Procurement in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial judgement, excellent negotiation skills and a structured, proactive approach.

You enjoy working closely with the business, understanding operational requirements and translating them into commercially sound supplier agreements.

You have:

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably within manufacturing, high-tech or a similar industry.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and negotiation of indirect services and outsourced service agreements.
• Experience negotiating and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), commercial terms and supplier performance requirements.
• Strong experience in supplier relationship management, contract management and commercial negotiations.
• Experience driving supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including cost analysis, TCO and market benchmarking.
• A university degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Experience in facility management services, industrial cleaning, workwear and laundry services, staffing agreements or similar service categories is highly valued.

Experience from manufacturing environments with high operational or quality requirements is an advantage.
