About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Strategic CFO to work closely with the promoters and management in driving business growth, expansion, diversification, M&A, and restructuring.

This is a strategic, business-focused CFO role, not a routine accounting or finance operations position. The existing Finance & Accounts team will report to the CFO, while the primary focus will be on growth strategy and strategic transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with promoters and management on business growth, expansion, and diversification.

- Identify and evaluate M&A, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investment opportunities.

- Lead business and financial restructuring initiatives.

- Manage the complete M&A lifecycle, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, closure, and post-merger integration.

- Lead and manage investment bankers, consultants, legal advisors, and other external advisors.

- Develop capital allocation and funding strategies to support business expansion.

- Provide strategic oversight to the existing Finance, Accounting, and Treasury functions.

- Support the Board and management with commercial and financial insights for key business decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

- 20+ years of overall experience with significant experience in the manufacturing sector.

- CA qualification is mandatory.

- Strong and proven experience in M&A and business expansion.

- Hands-on experience in restructuring and diversification.

- Proven ability to lead end-to-end transactions and strategic initiatives.

- Experience managing external consultants, investment bankers, and advisors.

- Strong understanding of valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and capital structuring.

- Stable career history with good tenure across organizations.

- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
