Strategic Dept Head
- Lead, coordinate, and continuously improve the performance of the Land Acquisition team
- Oversee and manage Security, CSR, and External Relations functions, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives
- Develop and propose annual work plans and budgets for Land Compensation, Security, CSR, and External Relations
- Build and maintain strong, harmonious relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, government authorities, and other external parties
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring targets are achieved and corrective actions are implemented when necessary
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on:
- Land acquisition progress
- Community relations
- CSR program implementation
- Provide strategic input and solutions related to land acquisition challenges and external issues arising from mining or other operational activities
- Ensure full implementation and compliance with SMKP policies and regulations across all areas of responsibility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in land acquisition, external relations, or CSR, preferably within mining, plantation, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, including government and community engagement
- Proven track record in land acquisition and compensation processes
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance (including SMKP)
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in complex, high-pressure environments with diverse stakeholders
