Strategic Design Leader
Description
We are hiring a Strategic Design Leader to define opportunity spaces from messy business questions across strategy, CX, and digital transformation in LATAM. You will guide narratives, prototypes, and cross-account engagements while leveraging AI-enabled delivery to accelerate insight and direction. Apply to help align leaders and deliver decision-ready work!
Responsibilities
- Run discovery and problem framing for complex transformation, modernization, and innovation efforts to reduce ambiguity
- Unify customer needs, business goals, operational realities, and technical feasibility into an integrated strategic perspective
- Structure ambiguity into hypotheses, decisions, plans, and measurable outcomes that keep work progressing
- Guide senior-stakeholder discussions and steer competing viewpoints toward alignment
- Craft experience visions, guiding principles, customer journeys, service ecosystems, and future-state concepts that anchor transformation
- Map friction points, opportunity areas, and intervention moments across channels, roles, and operating structures
- Convert strategy into usable experience frameworks, roadmaps, and prototype briefs that teams can execute
- Ensure recommendations are financially viable and operationally realistic, not only conceptually attractive
- Partner with account and delivery leadership to shape strategic opportunities and client propositions
- Assemble proposal storylines, methodologies, workstreams, staffing plans, estimates, and governance structures for new pursuits
- Develop points of view, demos, and prototype narratives that help clients feel confident in their decisions
- Join pitches, workshops, executive sessions, and follow-on conversations to advance engagement outcomes
- Combine user research, market data, competitive analysis, stakeholder input, and operational information into a coherent picture
- Separate evidence from assumption and surface meaningful gaps that must be addressed
- Translate findings into implications, recommendations, and decision-ready narratives instead of descriptive summaries
- Create strategic decks, points of view, one-pagers, proposals, workshop content, transformation stories, and decision-support tools
- Clarify complex information so executive audiences find it understandable, trustworthy, and actionable
- Hold a high bar for information architecture, visual storytelling, and editorial quality across deliverables
- Use AI tools including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Miro AI, and research agents to speed research, synthesis, content creation, and prototyping
- Establish repeatable AI-supported processes with appropriate judgment, verification, and quality assurance
- Support teams in applying AI to expand delivery capacity while preserving strategic rigor and avoiding generic outputs
- Advise researchers, service designers, UX and product designers, content strategists, and solution teams with direct strategic guidance
- Turn executive vision into briefs, working frameworks, and quality standards that guide team execution
- Influence effectively to lead outcomes even without formal reporting authority
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience spanning experience strategy, service design, innovation, consulting, product strategy, or digital transformation
- Demonstrated ownership of complex client engagements from early framing through recommendation and concept definition
- Practical experience partnering with senior client stakeholders and account leadership to drive outcomes
- Standout portfolio with executive narratives, strategic artifacts, and transformation work
- Expert facilitation ability, creating productive alignment across stakeholders with different perspectives
- Strong ability to synthesize, turning complicated and diverse inputs into clear, decision-ready insights
- Excellent written communication skills for producing refined, executive-grade content
- Confident presentation capability, explaining complex strategic ideas with clarity
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams while maintaining narrative coherence and quality
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, strongly preferred due to the LATAM focus of this position
