Strategic Finance Lead Product and Engineering

You will own product-level revenue and gross margin forecasting, guide resource allocation and capacity planning, manage recurring performance reporting, partner with Product and Engineering leaders, contribute to Board and executive materials, and mentor junior finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and gross margin forecasts
• Partner on headcount planning and capacity forecasting
• Manage OpEx discipline
• Identify and support resolution of resource trade-offs
• Own recurring reporting cadence
• Track KPIs and analyze variances
• Identify risks and opportunities
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders
• Coordinate with GTM Finance
• Contribute to Board and executive materials
• Mentor junior Strategic Finance team members

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
• Experience with product or engineering finance at a high-growth technology company
• Knowledge of product P&L mechanics
• Revenue and gross margin forecasting skills
• Headcount and capacity planning skills
• Software unit economics knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience partnering with Product or Engineering leaders
