Strategic FP&A Analyst

You prepare recurring budget-versus-actual reports across business lines and legal entities, maintain data integrity between NetSuite and Datarails, and perform variance and flux analysis. You build reporting templates, support board and earnings materials, maintain budgets and forecasts, manage operating expense and headcount models, update revenue assumptions, support audit-ready controls, automate reporting processes, and respond to ad hoc analysis requests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain recurring budget-versus-actual reporting across business lines and legal entities
  • Own data flow and integrity between NetSuite and Datarails
  • Perform monthly and quarterly variance and flux analysis
  • Build and maintain standardized reporting templates and schedules
  • Support quarterly board reporting packages and earnings preparation materials
  • Support annual budget and rolling forecast cycles in Datarails
  • Maintain operating expense and headcount models across multiple entities and currencies
  • Update assumptions and inputs for revenue models
  • Partner with Accounting, People Ops, and business stakeholders during forecast cycles
  • Maintain FP&A workflows and documentation to an audit-ready standard
  • Support SOX-relevant controls and external audit requests
  • Improve reporting processes through automation and cleanup
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting
  • Public company experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, including ERP data structure, segment and subsidiary dimensions, and financial data extraction and mapping
  • Advanced Excel skills, including structured modeling, complex formulas, and large data sets
  • Google Sheets proficiency
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and US GAAP
  • Accounting background, CPA, or active CPA track highly valued
  • High level of precision in managing financial data on a public reporting calendar
  • Comfort working in a small, high-ownership team
