Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Games, Play Partnerships (Korean, English)

About

Google Play is growing at a rapid pace, serving millions of Android users, both new and existing, with apps and games that are innovative, useful and entertaining. You will be part of the Google Play Partnerships team, focused on helping strategic Google partners build, grow and scale successful businesses using the Android platform and Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage business pipelines and develop partnership plans to drive initiatives to improve performance. Project manage execution of partnership plans, deliver reporting & insights, and work with operations teams to ensure lead tracking.
• Lead cross-functional projects, managing trackers and timelines to achieve objectives. Communicate progress and synthesize feedback for stakeholders.
• Identify new technical collaboration opportunities between developers and Google, developing strategic execution plans. Lead technical discussions, advocate developer needs, and secure cross-functional team commitment (product, engineering, marketing, commerce).
• Advocate for Google's new products and services to drive developer growth. Identify product gaps for enhancement, and plan/execute developer events with cross-Google teams to create best practices.
• Provide business consultations to key partners to contribute to the business growth, particularly in the global region, based on analysis of metrics, performance, best practices, and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
• Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
• Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
• Ability to communicate in Korean and English fluently to support partner relationship management.

Preferred

• Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
• Deep understanding of the mobile games market, standards, business models, sales channels and competitive landscape.
• Excellent project management skills including attention to detail, information organization, timeline tracking, and comprehensive communication and collaboration across many teams.
• Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial and value points with partners and internal Google teams.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of projects, using learnings to tailor messaging and tactics that maximize impact.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
