- Strategic responsibilities:
- Developing long-term procurement strategies with a focus on electronic components (PCB, PCA) and EMS assemblies, as well as external services in development and installation, which are aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Building strategic relationships with suppliers (worldwide), negotiating contracts and ensuring supplier quality to meet the high demands of the market.
- Monitoring and analysing the procurement market to identify trends, new technologies and potential suppliers.
- Planning and managing the procurement budget and ensuring resources are used cost-effectively.
- Establishing company-wide procurement guidelines to ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
- Identifying and minimising risks in the procurement process, such as supply bottlenecks or price fluctuations.
- Operational tasks:
- Co-ordinating and carrying out all procurement activities.
- Establishing supplier relationships in collaboration with the quality department.
- Obtaining quotations from various suppliers, evaluating them on the basis of price, quality and delivery terms, and making an informed selection.
- Conducting negotiations on prices, delivery terms, payment terms and other contractual provisions.
- Identifying and implementing measures to improve efficiency in the purchasing and procurement processes.
- Team management:
- Leading and developing the procurement team, including professional development.

- A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification.
- Several years’ professional experience (at least 7 years) in strategic procurement, ideally in the technology sector with a focus on electronic components (PCB, PCA) and EMS assemblies.
- In-depth knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiation and procurement strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law (BGB, HGB, VOB).
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office.
- Business-fluent English.
