Strategic Solution Architect, Presales

As a Strategic Solution Architect, Presales, you will serve as a senior technical advisor to strategic enterprise customers, helping them design and advance modern software delivery and DevSecOps practices. You will work closely with Fortune 500 organizations, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value for both engineering teams and executive stakeholders. The role combines enterprise presales, solution architecture, customer strategy, and deep technical engagement. You will collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to shape customer outcomes and influence product direction. You will also stay at the forefront of DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, cloud infrastructure, and related technology trends. This is a highly visible, customer-facing opportunity for an experienced solutions professional who enjoys solving complex problems and building long-term strategic relationships.

Accountabilities:

  • Engage with strategic enterprise customers to understand their software delivery challenges and guide them toward robust DevOps and DevSecOps solutions that support their technical and business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Sales Account Executives to develop account strategies, define engagement activities, build executive relationships, and establish long-term trust with assigned customers.
  • Educate engineers, architects, technical leaders, and executives on platform capabilities, technical architecture, use cases, and value propositions across a broad software delivery and security ecosystem.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for key decision-makers, including through customer visits, executive engagements, workshops, events, and industry conferences.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide direct customer feedback, identify emerging needs, and influence product features, priorities, and roadmap decisions based on field insights.
  • Work with Customer Success and Marketing to expand customer engagement, increase adoption across organizations, and identify opportunities to broaden the use of platform capabilities.
  • Maintain strong awareness of evolving technologies and best practices across DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, IoT, cloud infrastructure, application security, and modern software delivery.
  • Demonstrate solutions and communicate complex technical concepts in a compelling, outcome-oriented manner to audiences ranging from hands-on engineers to senior executives.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in enterprise presales or solutions engineering, ideally supporting Fortune 500 or Fortune 100 organizations and complex, multi-million-dollar technology engagements.
    • Extensive customer-facing experience in enterprise software infrastructure presales, with a demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence across technical and executive audiences.
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, continuous integration, Git, artifact management platforms, and common build technologies such as Maven, Gradle, npm, and Docker-based workflows.
    • Experience designing and explaining software delivery pipelines using technologies such as Docker, npm, Java, PyPI, and a range of DevOps tools and practices.
    • Knowledge of application security and the ability to incorporate security considerations into software delivery, architecture, and DevSecOps discussions.
    • Mandatory hands-on experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Experience working with software development and delivery at scale across both on-premises and cloud environments.
    • Understanding of software architecture, product development, and IT infrastructure, with the ability to connect technical decisions to broader business outcomes.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including a strong presentation and demonstration style, customer-first mindset, collaborative approach, and willingness to take initiative.
    • Strong ability to communicate technical risks, trade-offs, recommendations, and complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable learning continuously in a rapidly evolving technology environment.
    • Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% throughout the United States to support customers, events, and strategic engagements.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
    • Benefits:

      • Base salary range of $195,000–$215,000 USD, with final compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
      • Eligibility for additional discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
