Are you an experienced Strategic Sourcing leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering sourcing strategies that create measurable business value?
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead a team of sourcing professionals while driving category strategies that ensure supply continuity, cost optimization, supplier performance, and long-term business growth.
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping sourcing strategy, developing team capability, and partnering with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Product Development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Strategic Sourcing Leadership
Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies aligned to business objectives.
Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk.
Lead supplier selection, negotiations, performance reviews, and strategic partnerships.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation, and continuous improvement.
Proactively assess and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure operational continuity.
Support long-term sourcing roadmaps and future business growth initiatives.
People Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Strategic Sourcing team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear objectives and performance expectations aligned to business goals.
Build capability within the team through mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
Drive engagement and create an environment where team members can thrive and grow.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of key initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
✅ Strategic Sourcing Expertise
Proven experience developing and implementing sourcing or category strategies with measurable business impact.
Strong supplier management, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
Experience managing supplier performance, risk, and cost optimization initiatives.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
✅ Leadership & Management Experience
Demonstrated success leading, developing, and motivating sourcing, procurement, or supply chain teams.
Strong people management, coaching, and performance management capabilities.
Experience building team capability and driving a high-performance culture.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead through change.
Additional Qualifications
5+ years' experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain leadership roles.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
