Strategy and Operations Consultant

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, management consulting, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, or strategy operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Finance Systems.
  • Knowledge of ERP/Finance technologies, products, and market landscape.
  • Understanding of the A/I partner ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management teams.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ambiguous problems, applying business judgment and effectively communicating complex issues to audiences that include executives, business teams and partners.
  • Drive data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop synthesized recommendations.
  • Operate under uncertainty, structuring complicated issues and finding creative solutions to business challenges.
  • Work in a rapidly changing industry, and you demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
