Summary

Supports the COO by managing the OKR framework, preparing executive materials, and tracking strategic initiatives using data analysis and reporting tools.

Savant is seeking a Strategy and Operations Specialist to play a key operational role within the Chief Operating Officer function. This role helps translate strategic priorities into clear, consistent execution across the organization — creating leverage for senior leadership and helping ensure important initiatives keep moving forward. This is not a traditional administrative role. It’s a high-judgment coordination position for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across all levels of the organization. The right person brings precision, follow-through, sound judgment, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the broader mission.

What You'll Do

Support Savant's Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Framework

  • Help manage the firm's OKR process from goal-setting through tracking, reporting, and review.
  • Facilitate planning and check-in processes across teams.
  • Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Support teams on OKR methodology and best practices.
  • Identify risks, misalignment, and stalled progress before they become larger issues.

Prepare Executive and Governance Materials

  • Partner in the preparation of materials for executive leadership, Operating Committee, and board meetings.
  • Coordinate timelines, gather content, and ensure consistency across contributors.
  • Synthesize information into clear, well-structured materials that tell a cohesive story.

Coordinate Strategic Priorities

  • Monitor enterprise-wide initiatives and track dependencies, risks, and progress.
  • Maintain visibility into key strategic priorities.
  • Support special projects and initiatives that help move the business forward.

Turn Data Into Insight

  • Pull and synthesize data from multiple sources.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Communicate findings in a way that supports informed decision-making.

Support Leadership Operations

  • Partner with senior leaders and their teams to gather updates, coordinate timelines, and drive follow-through.
  • Prepare agendas, capture meeting notes, and track action items.
  • Help ensure commitments made in leadership forums translate into action.

What Success Looks Like

  • The OKR process runs smoothly and consistently across the organization.
  • Leadership has a clear, current view of strategic priorities and progress.
  • Risks and obstacles are identified early and addressed proactively.
  • Executive and board materials are delivered accurately, professionally, and on time.
  • The COO function and senior leadership team gain meaningful leverage through your support.
  • You build trusted relationships across the organization and are known for your reliability, judgment, and follow-through.
