Your future team:

Joining us at our HQ in Hedehusene, you become part of our Group Strategy and Business Development team. Here, you will be welcomed by an ambitious and dedicated team, who owns the Group strategy, drives top priority projects, and assists senior management with various analyses.

What you will be doing:

In Group Strategy we drive high-impact strategic projects and enterprise-wide strategic priorities that shape the direction of the ROCKWOOL Group. The role independently leads strategic investigations, develops decision-ready recommendations, and influences key decisions at Group Executive Management level. Working across regions, businesses and functions, the Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the Head of Group Strategy and Business Development, senior business leaders, and Executive Management. The role regularly engages with top executive management and CEO-level stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

  • Shape and own the analytical approach across projects/workstreams, ensuring analyses and quantitative models robustly answer the core strategic question

  • Reframe ambiguous, complex problems into clear, decision-ready strategic choices for leadership

  • Build distinctive insight on priority topics - going beyond what is already known - using credible internal and external sources

  • Manage and influence senior stakeholders across businesses, regions and functions, driving alignment around strategic priorities and recommendations in collaboration with executive management-level leaders

  • Lead project teams effectively across scope, pace, and quality, providing direction to project members

  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations and decision materials for Executive Management, Board-level and other senior leadership audiences

  • Own and drive strategic projects across major Group priorities, including regional growth strategies, transformation initiatives, productivity programs, and enterprise capability development topics

What you bring:

You are curios and enthusiastic about driving progress. You are a strong problem-solver and have solid analytical skills. Moreover, you are a strategic planner by nature, which gives you the capacity to prioritise tasks and steer projects forward through cross-functional collaboration and influence.

It is also vital that you know how to stand your ground when needed and that you can persuade and ignite inspiration in your surroundings. You know how to swiftly grasp and break down complex issues as well as distil solutions into clear presentations and simple concepts. Likewise, you are known for your ability to come up with feasible and value-adding solutions and communicate these in an easily understood manner. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or other relevant programmes

  • Have 4-6 years of hands-on experience from a top tier consulting firm, corporate strategy function, or corporate finance

  • Know how to motivate and guide teams and have great stakeholder management skills

  • Have an organised approach to the task at hand - and ability to work with and systematise complex material

  • Are well versed in Microsoft Office (incl. PowerPoint and Excel) – and are a vivid user of AI tools

  • Speak and write English effortlessly

What we offer:

Here, you will be empowered to truly get to unlock your full potential and enhance your skills.

We welcome you to an environment that offers unwavering support and encouragement. Your perspectives are always valued, and the sense of accomplishment that stems from seeing your work drive real-world impact is truly unparalleled.

The knowledge you will gather in this role will not only bolster your professional insight but also give you a holistic view of our organisation's multifaceted landscape.
