Strategy & Operations Manager - CEO's Office

Welocity is an AI native talent delivery platform helping enterprises across India and the UK hire faster and better. We are a fast-growing startup, and nearly everything in our business is captured as data on our platform, giving us a clear view of how our teams and accounts are performing.

We are looking for someone who can make sense of that data and turn it into action.

About the role:

This is a hands-on role working directly with our Co-Founder & CEO. You will get deep into the numbers, understand what is driving them from both a business and a people perspective, and work on fixing what is not working.

The platform provides the data and AI-driven insights. Your job is to go beyond the dashboards: understand the context behind every number, spot gaps early, and drive them to closure yourself.

What you will do:

- Analyse business and team performance in detail and get to the root cause behind the numbers

- Understand the business context and the people side of performance, not just the data

- Identify gaps early and work hands-on with owners to resolve them

- Run the CEO's business reviews and personally follow through on actions and decisions

- Build clear, concise reports that show leadership what is working, what is not, and why

- Take ownership of special projects on behalf of the CEO and execute them end to end

What we are looking for:

- Experience in strategy, consulting, founder's office, business operations or analytics

- Graduate or postgraduate from a premier institute such as an IIT, IIM, ISB, BITS or NIT (preferred)

- Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel or Google Sheets; SQL, Power BI or Tableau is a plus

- Good business sense and the ability to connect numbers to real outcomes

- Strong people judgement and confidence in having direct conversations with senior team members about performance

- A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with high ownership and discretion with sensitive information

- Exposure to staffing, recruitment or sales-driven businesses is an advantage
