Streaming Data Engineer (Remote – Spain Only)
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable data pipelines in Azure to enable analytics and data-driven decisions using Python, Spark, and Databricks.
We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our digital team and help drive innovative data solutions in a cutting‑edge Azure cloud environment. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling data‑driven business decisions and supporting advanced analytics use cases through scalable, high‑quality data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of data workflows: ingestion, storage, modeling, and pipeline development.
- Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines to support diverse business needs.
- Develop data-driven solutions and analytics for a wide range of use cases.
- Support foundational data products and next‑best‑experience (NBx) initiatives in Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional digital teams to implement best practices in big data and data engineering.
- Apply strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Communicate effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of big data platforms and architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with: Version control (Git)
- Data modeling and pipeline development
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
- Proficiency in at least one analytics/programming language: Python, Spark, or Scala
- Experience working with: Databricks, Data Factory, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
