Street Team Photographer

We're looking for photographers to go to top events in NYC and photograph the performances, attendees, sponsors, as well as Voice marketing efforts (street team in action, product shots). Street Team event photos are used on The Village Voice Facebook page and villagevoice.com street team slideshow, social media, plus more, where photo credit is assigned. This is an ideal position for young, motivated photographers looking to expand their portfolio and gain more experience.

Your skills include:

- creativity, a good eye for design and color balance

- confidence in talking to large groups, asking to take their picture

- must provide a professional camera and other digital photography equipment

- friendly, outgoing demeanor

- a passion for art, culture and/or nightlife

- strong photo editing skills

- experience in event photography

- flexible schedule

- ability to meet deadlines, photos must be sent within 24hrs
