Strong Junior Manual QA Engineer
Summary
A junior manual QA engineer will test a web application end to end — smoke, regression, and functional testing of user-facing and admin interfaces — while tracking bugs in Jira and building QA processes from scratch alongside developers, DevOps, and the CTO. Requires 2+ years of manual QA experience; API testing, SQL, and CI/CD basics are a plus.
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our web application and work closely with developers, DevOps, and the CTO.
Responsibilities
Manual testing of web applications (frontend and backend)
Smoke, regression, and functional testing
Testing user-facing and admin interfaces
Validation of business logic, user flows, and edge cases
Bug reporting, tracking, and management in Jira
Creating and maintaining test cases and checklists
Collaboration with the development team, DevOps, and CTO
Requirements
2+ years of experience in manual QA
Experience in testing web applications
Understanding of client-server architecture
Hands-on experience with Jira
Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
Nice to have
Startup experience

Basic understanding of CI/CD or DevOps processes
Basic SQL knowledge
