Strong Junior Software Test Engineer (electro-energetic domain)

Summary

Test engineer verifying power measurement devices, writing test plans, and analyzing results in the energy sector.

This position requires a highly-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Energetic, Telecommunication or Engineering
  • Knowledge of networks (able to explain all levels of OSI model)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in the electricity domain
  • Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of any Linux OS
  • Experience with Network sniffers (Wireshark, t-shark, tcpdump, etc)
  • Knowledge of any communication Protocols: Modbus RTU, ASCII, DNP 3.0, Modbus/TCP, DNP3/TCP, Profibus DP, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104

Position duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform functional tests and verification of power measurement devices
  • Write test documents and test plans
  • Analyze results, reporting, and qualification of issues
  • Build test setups and manage LAB infrastructure
  • Work closely with the development teams
