Strong Junior Software Test Engineer (electro-energetic domain)
Summary
Test engineer verifying power measurement devices, writing test plans, and analyzing results in the energy sector.
This position requires a highly-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- Degree in Energetic, Telecommunication or Engineering
- Knowledge of networks (able to explain all levels of OSI model)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking
Will be a plus:
- Experience in the electricity domain
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of any Linux OS
- Experience with Network sniffers (Wireshark, t-shark, tcpdump, etc)
- Knowledge of any communication Protocols: Modbus RTU, ASCII, DNP 3.0, Modbus/TCP, DNP3/TCP, Profibus DP, IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Perform functional tests and verification of power measurement devices
- Write test documents and test plans
- Analyze results, reporting, and qualification of issues
- Build test setups and manage LAB infrastructure
- Work closely with the development teams
