Summary
Designs temporary and permanent structures for large-scale civil projects like bridges, using standards-based analysis and tools such as AutoCAD and Sofistik.
Salary up to $5,000 (depending on experience)
Location: near Marymount MRT
5-day work week

Responsibilities
- Design temporary and permanent structural solutions for civil engineering projects.
- Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations in accordance with international design standards.
- Prepare design reports, calculations and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with internal technical and mechanical teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Review drawings and calculations prepared by team members.
- Manage assigned engineering projects to ensure quality, timelines and cost objectives are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and identify technical risks or design changes.
- Support project planning and propose solutions for design variations when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of structural design experience in civil engineering projects.
- Experience in steel structure design and/or temporary works design.
- Knowledge of international design standards is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with structural analysis or modelling software is preferred.
- Knowledge of Sofistik and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
