Structural Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to handle structural analysis, design, modelling, and technical reviews for building and infrastructure projects, delivering safe, efficient, economical, and code-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and composite structures.
• Design foundations, retaining structures, slabs, beams, columns, and structural frames.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain structural models using industry-standard software.

Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and design deliverables.

• Conduct design checks and peer reviews.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, civil, MEP, and other project requirements.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and technical inconsistencies.
• Provide technical support during project development and execution.
• Respond to structural design-related RFIs and site queries.
• Support value engineering and design optimization.
• Review shop drawings and as-built submissions.
• Conduct site visits for structural inspections and design verification when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant structural design and analysis experience.
• Proven experience with building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, ACI, AISC, and other relevant codes.
• COREN registration is required or highly desirable.
• NSE membership or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong structural analysis, modelling, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
