Manages structural design for Filinvest's property development projects: reviews external consultants' engineering studies and prepares signed-and-sealed in-house structural plans, estimates, and permit/bid/construction documents, then supports construction through to acceptance. Works with structural engineering software and AutoCAD.
Job Summary
The Structural Design Manager is in in-charge of conducting, overseeing and reviewing external consultant's engineering studies, design and coordination works. Responsible (signed and sealed plans and documents) for the preparation of various in-house structural engineering studies, de-tailed plans, estimates and documents for permit application, bidding and construction. Provide solutions during construction to suit site conditions up to acceptance of work.Duties and Responsibilities
PLAN PREPARATION AND DESIGN COORDINATION
In-charge of the preparation of structural engineering studies, conceptual and detailed plans, estimates
and documents for permit application, bidding and construction and submit complete
permit/bid/construction plan; such as: Land Development (Soil Investigation), Open Space Amenities/
Marketing Office and Building, MRB/ HRB and Housing.
Coordinate with consultants and checking of their submitted documents for completeness and
compliance with FLI parameters, standards and budget.
POST PLANNING ACTIVITIES
Provide solutions during construction to suit site conditions and as approved job request such as: Setting
out plan/ Order to Construct (OTC), Material Selection/ Monitoring and meeting/ inspection/ shop
drawing.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Frequent checking of new products, methodologies and services that can be use in the FLI projects for
possible cost savings.
PLANNING AND ENGINEERING ALLIED SERVICES
Study complaints and provide solutions of after sales issues and buyer'srequest.
Provide design assistance during office fit-out.
Provide technical support (plans and budget) for repair/rehabilitation works.
ALLIED COMPANIES SERVICES
Provide evaluation reports, studies the plan as requested (Technical assistance to FCD Companies), FAI
(FCC) and other allied companies.
CORPORATE WORKS
Addresses issues/ requirements requested by Corplan including smartsheet works.
Secure/ discuss project management approval for Corporate Planning work requirement
Secure/ discuss project for management approval for PMDC/ PCDC/ TPRC.
Attendance to company activities.
ADMINISTRATIVE WORKS
Attendance to departmental meeting and activities
Submission of documents involving administrative support.
Technical Competencies and Skills
Knowledgeable in Structural Engineering Softwares, AutoCAD and office. Project and construction management, works scheduling, quantity surveyEducation, Trainings and Licenses Required
Graduate of BS Civil Engineering Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer At least 10 years’ experience in structural design and implementation works Has attended various training & seminars related to Engineering Design/Construction Materials & Management/Leadership and Corporate Values
