Structural Designer
We are seeking a motivated Structural Designer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, detailing, and reviewing structural drawings for a variety of projects, while guiding junior designers and supporting senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, detail, and review structural drawings using AutoCAD
- Provide guidance to junior designers in design and drafting tasks
- Support senior engineers in design and drafting activities
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures
Requirements
- Diploma/B-Tech in Mechanical/Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in structural design.
- Strong knowledge of Class rules, regulations, and international standards.
- Expertise in steel and aluminum structures, including detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drafting techniques.
- Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage.
- Exposure to offshore, marine, or oil & gas industries preferred
