Structural Draftsman

As a Structural Draftsman, success in the first few months involves delivering precise and high-quality drafting work for heavy structures and PEB designs that meet client specifications and industry standards. The role entails working closely with engineers and architects to produce detailed structural drawings that are accurate and compliant with project requirements. You will utilize advanced drafting tools and software, including BIM applications, to create models that facilitate effective communication of design intent. Main duties include: - Developing detailed drawings for steel structures, PEB systems, and heavy frameworks - Collaborating with structural engineers to ensure designs are feasible and meet safety regulations - Modifying existing drawings based on engineering feedback or client requests - Maintaining organized records of drafts, revisions, and correspondence related to projects This position requires strong attention to detail and an understanding of structural design principles to produce exceptional work in a timely manner.
