Structural Draughtsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Draughtsman to support construction projects in Dubai by preparing clear, accurate structural drawings and models. Working closely with structural engineers and other project teams, you will help translate design concepts into coordinated construction documentation and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects. Responsibilities: - Prepare and revise structural drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules in line with engineering designs and project requirements. - Develop and maintain drawings using CAD and, where applicable, BIM software. - Coordinate structural drawings with architectural, MEP, and other discipline drawings to identify and resolve clashes or inconsistencies. - Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. - Incorporate engineer, client, and site feedback into drawing revisions and maintain clear revision records. - Assist with quantity take-offs and the preparation of drawing registers and other project documentation, as required. - Coordinate with engineers, site teams, contractors, and consultants to clarify technical details and support timely project delivery. - Follow company quality procedures, document-control requirements, and project deadlines.

- Diploma or relevant qualification in structural drafting, civil engineering, or a related discipline. - Previous experience preparing structural drawings for building or construction projects; experience in the UAE or GCC is an advantage. - Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit Structure or other BIM tools is an advantage. - Good understanding of structural elements, construction methods, drawing standards, and technical documentation. - Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design instructions. - Able to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage drawing revisions accurately. - Organized, dependable, and comfortable prioritizing work to meet project deadlines. - Clear communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
