Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Structural Design : Structural analysis and design for permanent and temporary civil/infrastructure works.
• Shop Drawing Management: Oversee and prepare detailed structural shop drawings, including reinforced concrete (RC) detailing, structural steel fabrication drawings, and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Technical Review & Compliance: Act as a design checker to review contractor/subcontractor shop drawing submittals for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications and local building codes.
• Construction Support: Resolve design discrepancies and site-related technical issues. Coordinate with site teams to manage site activities align with approved drawings.
• Coordination: Liaise with architects, consultants, and contractors to integrate structural systems with other disciplines (E&M, MEP) to avoid clashes and ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements:

• At least a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural design and construction management.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant design codes and requirements and construction methodologies, materials (steel, concrete).
