Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and technical-minded Site Supervisor to lead the on-site installation of a comprehensive industrial exhaust air treatment system—including Scrubbers, Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO), and Stacks—for a major pharmaceutical project in Singapore.
You will act as the bridge between our engineering management team and the site workers/subcontractors, ensuring the project is executed safely, on schedule, and up to international engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site installation works, including structural steel erection, piping works, ducting, and equipment positioning (Scrubbers/RTO).
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor sub-contractors and workers to ensure work progress aligns with the project master schedule.
- Interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, structural, piping drawings) and resolve technical discrepancies on-site.
- Enforce quality control and ensure installation works strictly adhere to drawing specifications and pharmaceutical sector quality standards.
- Work closely with the WSH Supervisor to ensure a zero-accident environment and strict adherence to the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
- Report daily/weekly project progress, manpower status, and material shortages to the Project Director.
Requirements:
- Must possess Coretrade / NCC / BCSS / Supervise Construction Work for WSH certification.
- BCA M11 type of mechanical/structural certifications or relevant engineering diplomas will be highly regarded.
- Minimum 3-5 years of site supervision experience, with specific experience in RTO installation, industrial ventilation, heavy lifting, or piping networks.
- Prior project experience within eg Wuxi AppTec, GSK, Pfizer, MSD or similar pharmaceutical/biomedical manufacturing plants is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of diverse workers.
