The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect structural steel fabrication and on-site installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review structural drawings, construction methods, and technical documents, ensuring proper welding, bolted connections, coating, and installation alignment.
- Conduct site inspections, identify quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project teams.
- Ensure structural steel works meet applicable safety, quality, and engineering requirements.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural steel works, fabrication, installation, or construction quality control.
- Good knowledge of structural steel welding, bolted connections, coating, corrosion protection, and installation tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with QA/QC procedures and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, welding, or NDT) will be an advantage.
