Structured Derivatives Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Structured Derivatives team. This role involves supporting the structuring, pricing, execution, and lifecycle management of complex derivative products across asset classes. You will work closely with our counterparties, client account managers, risk, and operations to deliver innovative solutions for clients while ensuring robust risk and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Structuring & Pricing: Assist in designing and pricing structured derivatives (e.g. equity-linked notes) using internal tools and market data.
- Trade Execution & Documentation: Coordinate with Client Account Managers, Counterparties, and Legal and Compliance teams to ensure accurate trade booking, term sheet preparation, and execution.
- Risk & PnL Monitoring: Track positions, market risk exposures, and daily PnL; escalate discrepancies promptly.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee and monitoring of corporate actions, coupon payments, barrier events, and early redemptions.
- Market & Client Analysis: Research market trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to support product innovation.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to pricing tools, workflows, and reporting processes.
- Promote client education initiatives together with Marketing team to increase adoption and understanding of structured products.
- Support compliance with regulatory and internal risk management frameworks, including monitoring exposures and reporting irregularities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or CFA/FRM preferred.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, financial markets, and structured products.
- Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, or other analytical tools; familiarity with systems like Murex or Bloomberg is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
