Citco Corporate Services (Ireland) Limited offers and provides corporate services to major financial institutions around the world. Citco Corporate Services (Ireland) Limited operations are mainly focused on structured finance and the type of special purpose vehicles that we manage on behalf of our clients include but are not limited to collateralised debt obligations, commercial mortgage backed securities, synthetic risk, private equity, aircraft leasing etc. We liaise with all the major audit, taxation and law firms within Dublin and many more internationally in this regard.
About the Role
As part of our continued expansion within the Structured Finance Team at Citco Governance Services in Dublin, we are looking for a pro active, enthusiastic and service minded Structured Finance Accountant. You will become part of a team of accountants, corporate administrators and secretarial support that manages a portfolio of client companies. You will strive to provide high quality services to your team and clients. You are highly responsive face-to-face, by phone and/or e-mail and you have a proactive attitude towards internal and external needs. You actively contribute in maintaining and expanding Citco’s business and help to maintain and improve Citco’s operational procedures.
Job Duties in Brief:
- Prepare financial statements under IFRS or local GAAP independently on behalf of client companies;
- Prepare annual, quarterly or monthly management accounts for structured finance and asset finance client companies in a multi-currency environment in accordance with reporting deadlines;
- Audit management, ensuring deadlines are met;
- Liaison with tax advisers to ensure corporation tax requirements are satisfied and preparation of 46G returns;
- Liaison with tax advisers to ensure VAT requirements are satisfied;
- Preparation and submission of FVC and Central Bank SPV returns;
- Presentation of financial statements at board meetings;
- Liaise with the Client Administration team in other aspects of client work such as corporate legal and tax;
- Assist projects as required by senior management;
- On-boarding of new clients and assisting with the liquidating of client companies;
- Manage a portfolio of diverse companies and ensure receivables collections targets are maintained in line with credit terms.
About You:
- Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant with 2+ years experience in accounting and financial reporting;
- Working knowledge of accounting issues related to securitisation/structured finance;
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for Irish companies (filing dates etc.);
- Excellent interpersonal, client relationship, influencing and communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict reporting deadlines;
- Ability to set priorities and to work both on own initiative and as part of a team;
- Willingness to embrace ad hoc responsibilities outside of the accounting role in order to meet our client’s requirements;
