Join Julius Baer's Structured Lending & Solutions team as a structured lending specialist, where you will play a critical role in Julius Baer’s lending offering within the GPS Division.YOUR CHALLENGE
Act as subject matter expert structuring complex lending transactions collaborating with key stakeholders globally
Liaise with clients to find suitable solutions for their bespoke lending needs
Support the broader team in deal specific tasks and various other exercises
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education, preferably in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or Law
Experience in collateralized transactions underlying being equities, fixed income, hedge funds, amongst other
Work on front to back work stream coverage – origination, structuring, approvals (including liaising with control functions) and lifecycle management
Preference for cross-jurisdictional experience, with understanding of complex cases (insider considerations, etc.)
Technical background in collateral assessment (excel models, etc.)
Background in transaction documentation negotiation
Experience with derivative structures / hedged transactions
Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, other languages are a plus
Diligent, accurate, and reliable personality
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
Critical and conceptual problem-solver with a growth mindset, with strong attention to detail
Able to work independently, and take ownership, with a highly motivated and positive attitude
