Structured Products- Trader
Summary
Develops and prices structured products like MLDs, builds quantitative pricing models, and manages trade lifecycle for a global trading business.
Edelweiss Global Markets operates a multi-strategy trading business focused on generating superior risk-adjusted returns across global markets. As an Analyst- Structured Products, you will support structured product pricing, quantitative analysis, lifecycle management, and trading desk operations.
What will the Person do?
- Structure and price MLDs and other structured products.
- Build and calibrate quantitative pricing models for derivatives and structured payoffs.
- Construct volatility surfaces, yield curves, and valuation inputs.
- Conduct back-testing, stress-testing, and scenario analysis.
- Manage product lifecycle events including coupon fixings and maturities.
- Support trade booking, cashflow schedules, and desk workflows.
- Prepare MIS reports and performance analytics.
- Coordinate with distribution and operations teams.
- Resolve booking and valuation exceptions.
- Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Technology, and Operations teams.
What is needed to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative fields.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience in Python and/or R.
- Good understanding of financial markets and derivatives.
- Strong MS Office and automation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think critically and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Knowledge of structured products is preferred.
