Student Athletic Event Medical Support Staff (Part-Time/As Needed)
Lyndon Institute is seeking a caring, dependable, and medically qualified individual to provide health support for a student attending athletic events throughout the school year.
This position plays an important role in ensuring the student's health and safety while participating in school-sponsored athletic activities away from campus.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Accompany a student to athletic events as assigned.
- Perform periodic blood glucose monitoring throughout events and travel.
- Administer rescue medications when necessary and in accordance with physician orders.
- Follow the student's individualized Diabetic Health Plan and Emergency/Rescue Plan.
- Monitor the student's condition and respond appropriately to changes in blood glucose levels.
- Communicate with school personnel, coaches, and parents/guardians as needed regarding the student's health status.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided during assigned events.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification appropriate to administer medications and provide diabetic care (such as LNA, RN, LPN, EMT, or other qualified healthcare professional, as applicable) is preferred
- Experience caring for individuals with diabetes is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks and pre-employment requirements.
- This is a part-time, as-needed position with hours based on the student's athletic schedule, including evenings and weekends.
