Job Summary:
Butler University Athletics is seeking enthusiastic and reliable college student workers to support the Athletic Ticket Office during home game days. Student workers will assist with various game-day operations, including ticket sales, ticket scanning, and Will Call services, ensuring a positive experience for fans attending Butler athletic events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket Sales: Operate the box office, process ticket purchases using point-of-sale systems, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide excellent customer service to fans.
- Ticket Scanning: Scan tickets at entry points to ensure valid access to events, assist with crowd flow, and address ticket-related issues courteously and efficiently.
- Will Call Services: Manage the Will Call window, distribute pre-purchased tickets to fans, verify identification, and resolve ticketing inquiries with professionalism.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, accurate, and timely assistance to fans, answering questions about seating, game schedules, and venue policies.
- Game-Day Support: Assist with additional tasks as assigned, such as directing fans to seats, distributing promotional materials, or supporting other game-day operations.
