Student - Athletics Event Operations Worker
Position Overview:
The Athletic Event Operations Student Worker plays a key role in ensuring the successful execution of athletic events on campus. This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in sports management, event coordination, and game day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Support: Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of athletic events across various sports.
- Scoreboard Operation: Operate scoreboards, shot clocks, and other in-game technology as needed.
- Replay Operator: Run instant replay systems (where applicable) during live games.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to fans, officials, teams, and guests.
- Gameday Roles: Fulfill a variety of roles on game days, including ticket taking, ushering, locker room setup, and more.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving minor technical or operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with event staff, coaches, and administrators to ensure smooth operations.
