Summary
Provide after-school care, mentoring, and enrichment activities for children in a Singapore-based student care center, focusing on safety, academic support, and personal development.
As a Student Care Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing care, guidance, and support to students outside of their school hours. You will create a safe and nurturing environment that provides holistic care and support to students, encompassing not only their academic growth but also their well-being and personal development.
Key responsibility areas
- To provide safety, quality care, guidance and supervision in order to inculcate good values and character in children.
- To plan and organize enrichment activities.
- To supervise children in their completion of school work and coach them in their studies.
- To attend to daily routine needs of the children.
- To liaise with parents on their children’s attendance, progress and Centre’s activities.
- To perform administrative duties as assigned by the Centre.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ level including English language
- Possess training in children’s services or training related to school-age children.
- Love working with children and able to guide them.
- Cheerful, responsible and able to work as a team.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate well with all levels of people.
