Student Counsellor
Job description
We are looking for an experienced student counsellor to support the academic, social, emotional, and personal development of our students. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to promote student wellbeing and create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in counselling psychology is mandatory.
Professional counselling certification or license is preferred.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a psychologist or student counsellor, preferably within a school or educational setting.
Skills
- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and teachers.
- Effective record-keeping, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and student welfare practices.
