Student Discipline Officer
Job Description:
- Support the Student Development Team in promoting positive discipline and student well-being.
- Build rapport with students during morning arrival, recess, and lunch supervision.
- Monitor student behaviour, manage conflicts, and report incidents promptly.
- Assist with discipline case investigations, including CCTV reviews and documentation.
- Conduct restorative conversations and support restorative practices.
- Support at-risk students through mentoring, intervention plans, and homevisits where required.
- Supervise after-school detention and intervention programmes.
- Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and school staff to support student development.
- Conduct school and neighbourhood patrols to promote student safety and positive behaviour.
- Maintain accurate case records and perform administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- MOE-registered personnel.
- Former MOE Primary School teacher or relevant qualification in Education, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in student welfare or a primary school setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
- Knowledge of child protection, counselling, and case management is an advantage.
- Passionate about supporting students and promoting positive behaviour.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and in a team.
