Student Discipline Officer

Job Description:

  • Support the Student Development Team in promoting positive discipline and student well-being.
  • Build rapport with students during morning arrival, recess, and lunch supervision.
  • Monitor student behaviour, manage conflicts, and report incidents promptly.
  • Assist with discipline case investigations, including CCTV reviews and documentation.
  • Conduct restorative conversations and support restorative practices.
  • Support at-risk students through mentoring, intervention plans, and homevisits where required.
  • Supervise after-school detention and intervention programmes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and school staff to support student development.
  • Conduct school and neighbourhood patrols to promote student safety and positive behaviour.
  • Maintain accurate case records and perform administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • MOE-registered personnel.
  • Former MOE Primary School teacher or relevant qualification in Education, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in student welfare or a primary school setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection, counselling, and case management is an advantage.
  • Passionate about supporting students and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and in a team.
