Summary
Support students through mentoring, restorative practices, and social-emotional learning to improve well-being and behavior in schools.
Key Roles
Provide targeted intervention and mentoring for identified students.
Build positive relationships to support social-emotional well-being and character development.
Develop students' SEL competencies (self-awareness, regulation, empathy, relationship skills).
Equip students with self-regulation, conflict resolution, and communication strategies.
Plan and facilitate restorative practices (circles, restorative conversations, peacemaking).
Support mediation for students in conflict.
Build home-school partnerships and facilitate family circles.
Train and coach staff in restorative practices.
Observe, document, and report student needs and progress.
Maintain confidential records and provide weekly updates.
Support preventive and developmental programmes.
Conduct termly programme reviews and recommend improvements.
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions using school data and feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, or Youth Work.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
