Student Guidance Support Officer
Job Description
- Manage student behaviour and safety incidents.
- Conduct misconduct and bullying investigations.
- Implement disciplinary and restorative interventions.
- Conduct home visits and neighbourhood patrols when required.
- Support student development programmes.
- Engage parents and external agencies when necessary.
- Maintain accurate student case records and documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Counselling, Educational Psychology, Social Work or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in youth engagement, preferably in a school setting.
- Experience supporting students with social-emotional needs and/or learning difficulties.
- Patient, firm yet warm, fair and respectful in approach.
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and engage students effectively.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
