Summary
Admission Interns are responsible for supporting and executing programs and activities designed to enroll new undergraduate students at Illinois College (IC). This position works with international students (both non-US citizens and US/dual citizens living abroad). As a component of the Enrollment team, interns participate in a full range of recruitment and admission efforts that may include travel, group presentations, individual meetings, application review and related duties as assigned. Interns will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue professions in admission counseling and enrollment management.

Counsel prospective students and their families as they seek to learn about the College
Respond to in-person, phone and electronic admissions inquiries
Conduct information sessions on and off campus, including virtual sessions
Assist with on and off campus recruiting events.
Conduct follow-up with prospective students at times that are convenient for different domestic and international time zones.
Collaborate with the Director of Specialized Admission Initiatives on special projects related to international recruitment.
Assist with outreach to students via social media, web materials, email content, or similar.
Provide excellent customer service to prospective students, families and school counseling staff.
Work with others to support division-wide enrollment initiatives such as event planning, program management, communication flow, and other duties as assigned
