Student Management Officer
Summary
Oversee student discipline, conduct interviews, and provide socio-emotional support while managing confidential case records for a Singaporean educational institution.
Job Description
- Support student case management and investigations.
- Conduct fact-finding, interviews and CCTV/record reviews.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, CCA and school activities.
- Manage minor conflicts, misconduct and student behaviour.
- Supervise students under detention, suspension and corrective measures.
- Provide socio-emotional support to students when required.
- Maintain confidential case records and documentation.
- Provide updates on student progress, interventions and follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience working with children/youth.
- Experience in student discipline, case management or behavioural support preferred.
- Knowledge of conflict management, mediation or restorative practices is an advantage.
- Emotionally stable, resilient and culturally sensitive.
- Strong communication, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Able to manage students with a firm but caring approach.
- Able to de-escalate conflicts and serve as a positive role model.
