Student Management Officer - Jurong
Summary
Supervise student behavior, investigate incidents, and mentor at-risk children in a Singaporean school under a 1-year contract.
Contract Period: From 14 September 2026 to 3 September 2027 with an option to extend the contract for another 11 months.
Working hours:
· Mondays to Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
1) Incident Investigation & Consequence Management
· Investigations: Conduct thorough and objective investigations into disciplinary issues (e.g., interviewing students, taking statements, establishing timelines).
· Restorative supervision: Manage and supervise students serving in-school suspension or after-school detention. Ensure they remain focused on assigned schoolwork and complete reflection journals or restorative tasks in a structured environment.
· Reporting & documentation: Prepare detailed incident reports, analyse offense data and trends, and provide timely updates to the HOD Student Management
· Stakeholder communication: Act as a key contact point for parents; communicate behavioral incidents, school consequences, and follow-up support plans in a professional and diplomatic manner
2) Canteen Patrol & Morning Assembly Transition:
· Monitor the canteen area before school begins and direct students to the school hall for assembly.
· Manage and log late-comers.
3) Campus Safety & Community Patrols
· Internal patrols: Conduct regular patrols within school grounds during curriculum time (e.g., recess, change of periods) to ensure safety and deter negative behavior.
· External patrols: Perform external patrols around the immediate neighborhood post-dismissal to monitor student conduct.
· Attendance tracking: Manage morning late-comers, document attendance trends, flag chronic cases to school counselors, and support the school with home visits for students with Long-Term Absenteeism (LTA).
4) Student Engagement & Mentorship (Student Activity Centre)
· Student Activity Centre (SAC Operations: Supervise and run daily operations at the SAC during breaks and after school, organising simple recreational activities to build positive rapport.
· Mentorship: Act as a mentor figure for at-risk children; check in regularly to support their behavioral growth
