Student Management Officer - School (Punggol)

Job Responsibilities
- Support the school's student management and discipline team.
- Assist with investigations into student misconduct cases.
- Conduct structured interviews with students, including students involved in incidents and witnesses.
- Document investigation findings accurately and objectively.
- Prepare investigation reports, statements and case documentation.
- Review CCTV footage, written statements and other relevant evidence.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student and case information.
- Conduct one-to-one check-in sessions with students undergoing rehabilitation.
- Monitor students' progress and provide appropriate guidance.
- Engage parents/guardians and provide relevant updates.
- Maintain records of rehabilitation activities and student progress.
- Conduct school walkabouts to deter and detect misconduct, including vaping and smoking.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain proper case documentation.
- Coordinate with school staff, community partners and external agencies where required.
- Attend relevant training and professional development sessions.
Requirements
- Diploma from a local polytechnic or equivalent, preferably in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience working with youths, such as in a school, social service, law enforcement, community or related environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in investigation or case management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to engage effectively with students, parents and school staff.
- Able to manage disputes, difficult student situations and emergencies professionally.
- Good written English and report-writing/documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Added Advantage
- Previous MOE / school Student Management or Discipline experience.
- Former SPF / Auxiliary Police / Investigation experience.
- Youth work or social-service case-management experience.
- Counselling / Youth Work / Student Development training.
- Conflict Management / Conflict Resolution certification.
- First Aid / CPR + AED certification.
- Experience preparing investigation reports and statements.
