Student Management - Youth Worker
Job Description:
- Support student well-being, behaviour management, and positive development.
- Conduct one-to-one and small group mentoring, counselling, and intervention sessions.
- Plan and implement student engagement and resilience-building programmes.
- Develop, monitor, and review student behavioural support plans.
- Investigate student incidents, conduct interviews, review CCTV footage,and support conflict resolution.
- Supervise student discipline, detention, and school routines during keyperiods.
- Perform home visits when required to support students and families.
- Maintain accurate case records, reports, and student management documentation.
- Liaise with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders on student progress.
- Assist with administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Diploma or professional qualification in Youth Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, Behavioural Science, Social Services, Early Intervention Teaching, or a related field.
- Passionate about working with children and youths, with a caring and positive attitude.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and student engagement skills.
- Able to build rapport with students and facilitate small group discussions.
- Able to conduct workshops such as stress management and time management.
- Uses professional and respectful communication when interacting with students
