Student Outreach and Social Media Coordinator (NYC Campus)
NewBe an early applicantThe Student Outreach and Social Media Coordinator is part of a team that implements community service and non-partisan political programming for the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR). Student Outreach & Social Media Coordinators serve as public-facing staff members for CCAR at community events and support CCAR’s social media and outreach efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design flyers, graphics, and other digital content for CCAR initiatives.
- Oversee CCAR NYC Instagram and collaborate with Pace Votes Tik Tok.
- Manage communications on university platforms.
- Assist with planning CCAR events and volunteering projects, as well as supervising student volunteers/attendees at events and on- and off-campus.
- Develop and maintain connections with student leaders and their organizations to promote events and recruit volunteers/attendees.
- Welcome visitors to CCAR office and support regular office operations.
- Assist Student Projects Coordinator as needed.
- Assist Andrew Goodman Ambassadors and Pace Votes Leaders as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the NYC Assistant Director.
- Above all, the optimal candidate for this position should have a passion for volunteering and civic engagement.
- Our preferred candidate will also be proactive, outgoing, and have good organizational skills.
- Working and communicating with a wide range of people, from students to professionals, will be required.
- The student must be a Pace NYC undergraduate student during the 2026-2027 school year and must be work study eligible.
