Student Outreach and Social Media Coordinator (NYC Campus)

The Student Outreach and Social Media Coordinator is part of a team that implements community service and non-partisan political programming for the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR). Student Outreach & Social Media Coordinators serve as public-facing staff members for CCAR at community events and support CCAR’s social media and outreach efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design flyers, graphics, and other digital content for CCAR initiatives.
  • Oversee CCAR NYC Instagram and collaborate with Pace Votes Tik Tok.
  • Manage communications on university platforms.
  • Assist with planning CCAR events and volunteering projects, as well as supervising student volunteers/attendees at events and on- and off-campus.
  • Develop and maintain connections with student leaders and their organizations to promote events and recruit volunteers/attendees.
  • Welcome visitors to CCAR office and support regular office operations.
  • Assist Student Projects Coordinator as needed.
  • Assist Andrew Goodman Ambassadors and Pace Votes Leaders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the NYC Assistant Director.
  • Above all, the optimal candidate for this position should have a passion for volunteering and civic engagement.
  • Our preferred candidate will also be proactive, outgoing, and have good organizational skills.
  • Working and communicating with a wide range of people, from students to professionals, will be required.
  • The student must be a Pace NYC undergraduate student during the 2026-2027 school year and must be work study eligible.
