Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience working with youth, young adults, or underserved populations in an educational, nonprofit, workforce development, or social services setting.
- Experience providing case management, student support services, youth development programming, or care coordination.
- Experience collaborating with schools, community-based organizations, and/or public agencies.
- Ability to build positive relationships with youth, families, school personnel, and community partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including experience maintaining records and entering data into tracking systems.
- Ability to facilitate groups, workshops, or student activities.
- Experience providing administrative support, including recordkeeping, data entry, scheduling, and office operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database or student information systems.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and support special events or programming as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Cantonese.
- Experience developing and implementing youth-centered curricula, workshops, and educational programming.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Knowledge of local juvenile justice systems, including juvenile court processes and youth-serving community resources.
- Experience working in educational, alternative education, nonprofit, or youth development settings is highly desirable.
