Student Support (f/m/x) - Corporate Credit Analysis (20h/week)

Group Corporate Credit Analysis is the Internal Rating Agency of RBI. We analyze corporate customers across a wide range of industries — including leveraged finance transactions — and assign risk-adequate ratings to every corporate customer of the bank. We also support key stakeholders: regulators, internal audit, account managers, and underwriters.

Our guiding principle: Data is the key.

You'll manage rating data and develop reports that the entire RBI Group relies on — both regular and ad-hoc.

What you can expect:

Reporting & Dashboards

  • Build internal BI reports and dashboards related to credit ratings — helping analysts spend less time on manual work and more on analysis

Data & Analytics

  • Combine data from different systems and sources to strengthen the team's data capabilities
  • Dig into data fields and structural topics — from the single case to the final report — and develop a solid understanding of what drives the numbers

Process Automation

  • Automate recurring tasks and improve internal processes

What you bring to the table:

  • Active student in Business Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or VBA highly recommended
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and openness to learning new tools
  • First experience with AI tools or prompt engineering for automation is a plus
  • You'll thrive here if you're the kind of person who wants to understand why, not just what and take ownership in your work
  • You communicate clearly in English and enjoy collaborating across teams

What we offer:

  • Work & Study: The ability to gain practical experience in an international banking environment while continuing your studies
  • Flexibility: Working hours adaptable to your university schedule and a balance of on-site and home-office days
  • Onboarding: An easy start with a buddy from your team to guide you
  • Community: Internal networking with other students
  • Internationality: Operations in Central and Eastern Europe with English as the corporate language, providing a foundation for an international career
  • Canteen: A wide variety of healthy, tasty, and heavily subsidized meal options
  • Further Benefits: Shopping vouchers from the staff council (e.g., supermarkets), free museum tickets, attractive sports offers, fitness center membership allowance, and a reduced public transport ticket
  • Compensation: An attractive monthly student salary of gross EUR 2.619,73 (based on 38.5 hours per week)
