Student Support Officer

Job Description

• Support daily discipline operations, including latecomers, detention and suspensions.
• Conduct walkabouts within the school compound and surrounding neighbour hood areas.
• Investigate student incidents and follow up with students and parents.
• Guide and mentor students with disciplinary and behavioural issues.
• Monitor and track students’ progress and improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of disciplinary cases and incident reports using Microsoft Office.
• Follow school safeguarding, emergency, confidentiality and PDPA procedures.
• Perform other student management duties as assigned by the school

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in discipline management, case management or youth behaviour support.
• Relevant youth work qualifications/certifications are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Experience with behaviour management or restorative practices is an advantage.
• Emotionally resilient and culturally sensitive, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
